How to Install BENOsim eSIM on Your Laptop

Planning to set up your new [BENOsim] eSIM on a compatible laptop?

Using eSIM on your laptop allows you to connect to mobile data without a physical SIM card or relying on Wi-Fi availability nearby.

Installing eSIM on Windows Devices

  1. Click the [Start] menu
  2. Open [Settings], then go to [Network & Internet]
  3. Select [Cellular], then click on [Manage eSIM profiles]
  4. Choose [Add a new profile]
  5. Click [Let me enter an activation code]
  6. Either scan your QR code and tap [Continue] to proceed, or manually input your eSIM details (SM-DP+ address and Activation Code)
  7. If needed, ensure that both the [Name] and [APN] fields are set to [BENOsim]

Activating Your eSIM on Windows

To connect to a network, make sure you're physically located in the country or region associated with your eSIM data plan.

(For example, if your eSIM is intended for use while traveling, you won’t be able to activate it successfully while still in your home country.)

  1. Click the [Start] menu
  2. Go to [Settings], then [Network & Internet]
  3. Select [Cellular] and open [Manage eSIM profiles]
  4. Choose the eSIM profile you want to activate, then click [Use]
  5. Confirm your selection by tapping [Yes]

Once completed, your laptop will connect to the data network using your eSIM.
