How to Activate Your eSIM on iOS Devices

1. Turn on Your eSIM After Arrival

Go to [Settings > Cellular] and tap the eSIM you installed before your trip under the [SIMs] section.

Tap "Turn On This Line", then go back to the previous screen.

2. Enable Data Roaming

Tap the eSIM again (now in the "On" state) and switch Data Roaming to On.

*For local network plans, please keep Data Roaming turned Off.

3. Set eSIM as Cellular Data

Tap Cellular Data, then select your eSIM as the active data line.

• Make sure "Allow Cellular Data Switching" is turned Off to avoid unexpected roaming charges.

4. Turn Off Roaming for Your Main Line

Tap your Main line and turn Data Roaming to Off.

5. Check Default Voice Line

Ensure your Default Voice Line is still set to Primary.

6. Confirm Activation

If all settings are configured as below, your eSIM is now successfully activated.

*In short, your voice and messaging remain on your main line, while only data usage is switched to the eSIM for use during your trip.
