How do I know if my device is unlocked?

Insert a SIM card from a different carrier. If calls/texts work, your device is unlocked.

For iPhones : Go to Settings → General → About and scroll down. If you see “No SIM restrictions” next to Carrier Lock, your iPhone is unlocked.

For Android devices : Go to Settings → Connections → SIM manager. If you don’t see “Add eSIM” section, your device is locked.

Contact your carrier for unlock instructions. Most can unlock it remotely.
